Fog Lights
Somebody please tell me what’s the deal with the fog lights on the SUVs, mini vans, and pickup trucks? It seems like everyone that owns a SUV with fog lights drives around in the dark with the fog lights on. All the time. Foggy or not.
It could be because it looks cool, “Hey, look at me, I’ve got FOG LIGHTS!” I’m not just your average Joe driving around in a regular SUV. I’ve got FOG LIGHTS! I’m special. Well Joe, apparently you are not that special, because everybody with an SUV has fog lights!
Maybe it’s because the last time it was foggy they forgot to turn them off. Yeah, that’s the ticket! Wait a minute, my car and truck both have fog lights. When the fog lights are on there is a light on the dash that comes on to remind you that the fog lights are on. It’s the same way on my Roadster, there’s a light on the dash that tells me the fog lights are on. Maybe that doesn’t explain it.
I don’t know what the deal is but I see them everywhere. What’s up with that? I guess it is because it looks cool, and maybe it is, but not as cool as chrome wheels!
