Don’t listen to what he says now…..
To really understand where Obama is coming from you should not listen to what he is saying now. Now, he is running for President of the United States and is positioning himself as a moderate Democrat. But his voting record and his past views, along with some unscripted responses to questions, tell much more about the man than what he is saying out on the campaign trail.
This is an radio interview with Barak Obama (when he was an Illinois State Senator) from 2001 on National Public Radio. This is his real opinion. He says the court decisions on civil rights didn’t address the issue of redistribution of wealth, it didn’t go far enough, it wasn’t radical enough! The decisions didn’t go far enough to define what the Federal Government should do on your behalf! He wants to redistribute wealth from the “evil rich” people to the poor.
I suggest that you look at Obama’s voting record from the votesmart.org. This is quite eye-opening!
