Pelosi’s Speech – September 29, 2008
Here is a link to the speech Speaker Pelosi delivered in the Congress on September 29, 2008 that so enraged the Republicans. She did a good job of bashing the Bush Administration and the Republicans and made it sound like the Democrats had no part in the Wall Street meltdown! Nice Job!
She must have thought that they had the votes to pass the bail-out bill and it was a good time for a good partisan lashing of the Administration. Well, I don’t know if she really did piss off the Republicans of if they really didn’t have the votes to pass the bill. I know that by checking the vote count last night, all but two of the Georgia Congressional Deligation voted against the plan, many of those were Democrats!
